Year 7 Literacy & Numeracy Catch up Plan
YEAR 7 ENGLISH & MATHEMATICS CATCH-UP PLAN FOR 2017/18
Catch-up funding is available for students not meeting the ‘expected standard’ scaled score of 100 in reading and/or Maths. For the academic year 2019/20 schools will receive approximately £232 per student. From 2016, new more challenging National Curriculum was assessed by new tests and interim frameworks for teacher assessment. As a result of these changes, figures for 2016 are not comparable to those for earlier years. The expectations for students at the end of Key Stage 2 have been raised and as such, the percentage of students who have not met the expected standard in English and / or Maths is much higher in 2016.
