RAG Week – ‘Raise and Give’

An amusing and rewarding week to raise money for charity. During this fun filled week we raise money through a variety of antics including daytime bucket collecting, fancy dress (different themes each day), lunchtime sports events including the very competitive staff v sixth form football match and a 'baked bean' bath for the Head of Sixth Form!

Charity Fundraising

The sixth form get involved in many charity fundraising events throughout the year. This includes a Macmillan Coffee Morning and School Uniform MUFTI for Children in Need.

Our sixth form students are encouraged to take their own initiative and fundraise for charities they have a personal affiliation to. Over the years we have had students take part in a charity boxing match, cut off their hair for children’s wigs and set up their own businesses to make money for charities.

This is very valuable to the charities involved and the students developing their own skills and moral compass.
