Student Voice
Student voice is a key component of day to day life at Oxted School and we believe passionately in developing the values of ‘respect and responsibility’. A key part of this is by providing the opportunity for the student body to have a voice that is listened to and the opportunity to influence the direction of the school.
Each Year Group from across the school have Student Leaders who, not only support the work of the Year Team, but are also able to discuss all elements of school life from rewards and consequences, to school uniform.
The JLT (Junior Leadership Team) meet with the Principal on a regular basis which helps to ensure that there is a strong link between the student body and the Senior Leadership Team.
The impact of the student Year Leadership and JLT is wide reaching and is something that we are looking to develop further.
