Welcome

It is my pleasure to welcome you to Oxted School, a member of The Howard Partnership Trust. Our school has been at the heart of the local community for over 90 years, blending rich traditions with modern, innovative teaching and I am delighted to be writing the next chapter of the school’s incredible journey.

At Oxted School, we are fearless and proud to hold the highest expectations for all our students in everything they do. Whether it be academic achievement, personal development, or contributions to the wider school community, we believe that every student can excel when challenged, supported, and inspired. Our commitment to ‘Bringing out the Best’ means we celebrate ambition, resilience, and a strong work ethic, ensuring that students leave us as confident, well-rounded individuals ready for their next steps in life.

We expect every student to take pride in their learning, their behaviour, and their contribution to our school. The success of our School is the dedication from our staff in delivering student-centred, impactful lessons that stretch and challenge, while also offering the support needed to help every student thrive. Alongside academic excellence, we promote leadership, creativity, and social responsibility through our personal development curriculum and a wide range of enrichment activities, ensuring our students develop the skills and character needed to succeed in a rapidly changing world.

Student leadership is a key part of our school culture. We believe that young people should have a voice and take an active role in shaping their school experience. Our Student Leadership Teams, Prefect System, and School Council provide opportunities for students to develop confidence, responsibility, and communication skills. Through mentoring younger students, organizing school events, and representing their peers, our student leaders play an essential role in fostering a positive and inclusive school environment. We actively encourage all students to take on leadership roles, whether in the classroom, on the sports field, or within our wider school community.

I encourage you to explore our website to learn more about the Oxted School community, our curriculum, and the opportunities we offer. If you have any questions or would like further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.

We look forward to welcoming you to Oxted School.
