Our Year 8 football B team took on Royal Russell at home on a challenging top field surface.

Despite dominating possession in the first half, the team couldn't convert their chances and conceded a goal just 5 minutes before half time as the away side gained momentum.

Tactical changes in the second half paid off when JJ entered the field, energising the attack and scoring a crucial goal. Raffi also made a significant impact, adding to the tally. The final goal came from captain Ronnie’s spectacular 25-yard free kick, which found the net after a mix-up between the opposition keeper and defender.
