Year 7 STEM Adventure at Gatwick Airport

Our Year 7 students had an incredible opportunity to visit the London Gatwick STEM Centre!
After a warm welcome and introduction from the Gatwick team, students were handed notepads and Lego pieces to kickstart their adventure.
With a step-by-step guide, they built robots that embarked on an airport journey from arrival to departure. The highlight? Getting hands-on with coding to ensure their robots followed the journey from start to finish. Everyone got their robots working, and most even completed the entire journey!
The excitement didn't end there. Our hosts conducted a virtual Q&A session where students guessed the correct answers to various questions. Before heading back to school, each student received a certificate from the Gatwick team for their participation.
