Outstanding A-Level Results 2019
Oxted School is ecstatic to announce its outstanding A-Level results this summer. The early indications are that these are the best results since the 2011 and would put the School’s performance in the top 25% of all schools. Nationally this year the percentage of A*/A grades fell but Oxted has bucked the national trend and saw an increase in the number of A*/A grades. Overall nearly a quarter of all grades awarded at Oxted were A*/A, proving just how talented our students are. As a comprehensive school we are also very proud of our 100% pass rate at A-Level for the first time, which is testimony to our pastoral and academic support.
These grades are only possible due to the hard work of our students, teachers and the support from home.
This year 9 subjects have performed in the top 25% of schools nationally. We are very proud of the range of successes of these subjects including English, Mathematics and Sciences. The performance of French, Economics, Physics and Media were truly outstanding with their performance being in the top 10% of School nationally. The breadth of the successes reflects the school’s commitment to find and nurture students’ talents, whatever they might be.
We were incredibly proud of our students’ performance but we must mention in particular;
